This is a proper 305 meter outdoor UTP CAT 6 cable with a double jacket construction. The outer layer is UV resistant polyethylene, built to handle the harsh Nairobi sun without getting brittle. The inner layer protects the four twisted pairs inside. Speaking of those pairs, they are 23AWG solid copper, not copper clad aluminum. We do not stock CCA cable because we have seen what happens when you try to push PoE power through it over a long distance. Voltage drop becomes a real issue. Your cameras reboot randomly. Your access points underperform. Solid copper gives you consistent performance whether you are running data only or powering devices through the same cable.
Speed wise, this cable gives you full gigabit ethernet at the full hundred meter distance. If your run is shorter, you can push even higher. The 250 MHz bandwidth handles modern IP cameras, VoIP phones, and the latest WiFi 6 and WiFi 7 access points without breaking a sweat.
